Make Blue Eyes Pop!
Opposite colors on the color wheel, have the strongest contrast and create the most POP!
In the illustration on the left, you can see the orange colors are directly across from the blue colors.
Orange tones are the complementary color to blue tones.
If you really want to make your blue eyes pop, look for eyeshadows with orange undertones. That doesn’t mean you need a bright orange to make your eyes really pop. But any color with orangey undertones will work.
Many of these colors will also have brown undertones, like copper, coral, and rust. But peach tones will also give you the same effect.

Another way to find great eye shadows for your baby blues, is to look at colors that
harmonize with your eye color. Analogous colors are nearby on the color wheel. Look for blues, greens, teals, indigos, or purples, violet, or even dark smokey midnight blues.
Analogous colors are found within 3 steps of your eye color on the color wheel. You can mix in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction, but keep it within 3 steps.

If you are very fair complected with blond hair, smokey eyes can look harsh if you use color that is too dark.
Consider using darker shades of blue or smokey greens.
Mascara for Blue Eyes. Eyeliner for Blue Eyes. Eyebrow Makeup for Blue Eyes.
If you are very fair complected, with blond hair, beware of black mascara and eyeliner. You may be able to wear it at night, but for daytime looks it may simply be too harsh and hard-looking.
For daytime looks, try brown for eyebrow makeup, like this one from Dior. Also consider brown or blue eyeliner, and dark brown mascara.
Violets and purples can really make blue eyes pop. So consider using a gel liner in plum, like this gorgeous eyeliner from Lancome.
Use a stiff, slanted brush for best application.
